Guided Ancient Lviv Tour
This is a walking and driving tour in English language, including a visit to the Lviv High Castle Hill for a bird's eye view of Lviv and the suburbs. In the course of our Lviv tour you will see Lviv's most outstanding landmarks, including the Main Polish Cathedral of Virgin Mary, old buildings around the Market Square, the 14th century Armenian Church, the Dominican Church, the Ukrainian church of St. Nicholas from the 13th century as the oldest standing structure in Lviv, ruins of the Golden Rose Synagogue, the Gun Powder Tower, the Lviv City Hall Tower and many other landmarks. Our standard Lviv Tour could be customized depending on interests of the participants. If your roots are in the old Lwow/Lemberg, and you have the old address, then in the course of the tour, we could try finding the location of your family place. At your request we will take you to the site of the former Janowski Concentration Camp, to the locations of some of the Lviv Synagogues destroyed in World War Two, and to the place where the Old Jewish Cemetery used to be. This is an interactive tour where you are welcome to ask questions and we will try giving you answers to the best of our knowledge. Transportation and services of the English tour guide/driver are included in the price.
