Lviv Ecoutour was started by Vladyslav and Miya Tsarynnyk, a young Ukrainian couple from Lviv, Ukraine. Today we rely on our team of several great people, each of us combining the skills of being a knowledgeable local guide, driver, interpreter and often a researcher. We like to sift through complicated multicultural history of Western Ukraine, observe and discover natural, cultural and historical details, and distinguish the connection between the past and the present day. We love skiing, hiking and biking in the Carpathian Mountains and would like to introduce others to this beautiful part of Ukraine. One of our goals is to help develop rural areas of southwestern Ukraine through environmentally friendly tourism.
Who we try to reach
These are the people who are after a different kind of experience. Our tours are for those who want “to get away from it all”. Wandering the streets of Lviv where time seems to have stopped, visiting ghost castles or spending a night high up in the mountains is what you could expect. It would be a perfect holiday break for those who can spot things that are not obviously visible to most other people and a good place for those being able to see through layers of dust and old paint.
