Grand Hotel is located in the very center of Lviv on Prospekt Svobody, it has a bar and a restaurant downstairs that serves excellent buffet-type breakfast topped by pancakes made at request. The hotel staff speaks English and are generally quite helpful. Grand Tour travel agency is located within the hotel building selling tickets for the Grand Tour Lviv - Kyiv train carriage and can book flights within Ukraine and internationally. Wien Hotel is across the street from the Grand Hotel, also on Prospekt Svobody. This is a new hotel with relatively moderate prices considering that the quality is comparable to the Grand Hotel. Vienna Cafe restaurant is downstairs serving breakfasts and its specialty of the house, Wiener Schnitzel. If you ask for a room facing the street you would be able to see the hustle and bustle of Lviv life on the street below while sitting in a comfortable wicker chair on your room balcony.

George Hotel is located in Lviv center on Prospekt Svobody where it intersects with Prospekt Shevchenka, the second main street of Lviv. It's a little old fashioned and many things resemble the old days of the Soviet Intourist era but is nonetheless pleasant and reasonably priced. Dnister's advantage over George Hotel is a guarded parking area near the main hotel entrance.

Hotel Eney is almost at the end of Pekarska street where it runs into Lychakivsky Cemetery. The hotel is not in the center but if you are prepared to walk for 20 minutes down a cobbled street flanked by horse chestnut trees, getting to the center would be fairly simple - just keep walking down Pekarska street, then cross Ivana Franka and you are in the center of town. The hotel is new with rooms ranging from tiny to an entire apartment.
